Loose internals on lens

I bought a Sigma 30mm F1.8 for my Sony NEX. When it arrived the internals of the lens seem very loose and rattle. Also when the lens is not connected to the body the aperture blades move if you tilt the lens. All that said the lens does seem to work when on the camera. Does anyone else own this lens if so do they think there is a lot of internal movement?
