Well i have finally decided to take the plunge and have decided to buy the New mac book Pro 13 inch, iam a little stuck on whether to go for the one with the Intel i5 or i7 processor, i guess what iam trying determine is if the extra money spent on the i7 will result in noticeable differences in performance. Iam not much into gaming on notebooks so primary use will still remain PS and general web usage...the difference in price between the two is about 10,000 INR and a RAM upgrade on the i5 from the standard 4GB to 8 GB will cost about the same amount
Any advice will be appreciated

I run a 2010 model Macbook Pro without the i5 or i7 processor. I find it runs extremely quick on PS CS5 with the 8gb Ram and no noticable difference between that and my imac with i5 and 4 gb ram. Personally I would go for the bigger ram however if you have the money for the i7 then that may be the better long term buy as you can always save up and add the extra ram later. You cant cheaply upgrade the processor later!
Thanks Paul, i guess that makes sense
