    Dear all
    At risk of repeating myself this weeks macro challenge is shoes.
    Big shoes small shoes, muddy shoes, crocs with sun light coming through the holes..bits of shoe.... the world is your shoe!!!

    Just joined this group i have a Nikon CoolpixL120 which i,m still learning about, BUT i do love the macro setting on it(Never had a camera with this setting before)As for this weeks challenge i been taking pics of me and my daughters shoes and just wondered how many pics am i allowed to enter?

    If you look at the topic for week ending 8th April you' ll see that Stuart has reminded us all of the rules.

    The short answer to your query is: one.

    The most important rule is " have fun."

    The normal rules are one upload per member, not sure if the host for the weeks challenge can vary it though.

    Bearing in mind I am new to this i have cut and paste the rules from las week and understand them to be:

    1. The challenge is just for fun.
    2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
    3. All images must be uploaded by 6 pm on the 22nd April in the Macro group photo area.
    4. The title of your entry should begin "Weekly Macro Challenge".
    5. Only one upload per member.
    6. Please feel free to comment on the entries once judging is complete.
    7. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
    8. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
    9. Have fun

    Thanks for the clarification, Jade. I know sometimes the challenge staters can use their discretion, just as the sodding chicken did when it walked out on me.

    I'll have to look sound for some suitable shoes, as there is no way that my size 13 shoes could be considered as macro.

    given that macro means 'life size' - size thirteens should fit neatly into the macro category, don't you think? You could always see if the chicken will lay an egg in one of them for you!!!!
