Manfrotto Tripod Plate


Help! Ive lost my tripod plate to my Manfrotto 290 series tripod ive searched everywhere and i really dont want to pay 50 + for a new piece of metal, i was wondering if anyone new where i would be able to get one of these plates cheaper?

Try Calumet but I doubt you'll get it any cheaper than Manfrotto direct.

You can buy the RC2 plate (the grey bit) cheaply from China on Ebay. I purchased a couple for permanent attachment to telephotos. Allow 3 weeks for delivery

Just the quick release plate is on the manfrotto site for 15.95

Wow at the price the Chinese ebay traders are selling it for you can buy one for each camera, and buy a couple of spares.

Doesn't everyone. And the postage is free.

But I think the OP needs more than that. It's the spotting scope attachment that seems to up the price.
