Hi,
I am using Photoshop CS2 & i want to create some sun rays in a 'put together picture' not a photo.
Any ideas as i'm completely stuck !
It's very hard to do this, but i will try to help.
First pick a foreground colour after clicking on the foreground box, pick a nice pale yellow colour. Now create a new layer. Select the Paintbrush and paint in round blobs, where the shafts will come from. Then go to Blur-Motion blur and set the angle you want, and a distance of 300-400 pixels, It all depends on the shot itself, but I hope this helps. Come back to me if you want more help.
All the best.
Bill.
Thanks Bill, I'm giving it a go right now. I understand what you are saying although i'm having difficulties in picking the right colour - its fading into my backround colour which is a shade of purple, don't know why though its on a different layer.
heres some tutorials I found
