Thats easy. Eviscera, Dave has such a creative mind. His images blow me away everytime!
There may be better photographers out there for portraits or landscapes etc but just for his mind alone he is a winner.

I see a pregnant pause in progress. I think it should be one question per Epz'er at a time, as several questions does not allow to much room for expansion.

Iain you have been asked about your kit, you mention the 40D and two lenses.

Can you be more specific, I am talking lenses lighting tripod filters etc., etc., etc., it is always interesting to see what other users have in their kit bag?

Interesting, apart from my kit camera being a D80 and the light source a SB800, lense length tripod SD's filter etc., identical.

Quote: i'm happy with the kit i have

You must have a dream that one day you want to own a the Canon equivalent of the D3s (sorry I'm a Nikon freak not up on Canon stuff)?

My dream is the D700, cos I'm a gadget freak, but won't pay the money for the D3 series even if I could afford it.

Hi Iain,

Two questions if i may:
1. Would you consider using your flash mounted on your tripod fired by a wireless trigger a worthwhile technique?
2. Do you struggle with ISO/shutter speed on darker days, and have you ever used one of those cheap ebay reflectors to help add light?

Cheers,
Stuart

Dream kit would be hassleblad but realisticly a 5Dmk2 body would be nice, i think my 85mm would be better on a full frame camera.

Stuart,
Maybe once i've figured out how to take good pictures with just my camera i will progress to off camera flash stuff.
If i even start to struggle with shutter speeds i change to my 85mm 1.8 on darker days. I got a reflector with my elemental lighting kit but never used it yet. The last 2 shoots i was on it was only me and the model so nobody to hold reflectors. Could have done it myself but prefer to concentrate on one thing at a time since i'm just starting out with portraits.

Never gave it much thought really. I logged in, had a quick look around and decided there and then to sign up for 5 years. Friendly, colourful and full of helpful people.

What will you do next week when you no longer have all this attention? Smile

Always on here when i'm nightshift so will be asking plenty of questions instead of answering them.
Hopefully my son will be born so i can give him lots of attention.

What are your favourite photographic and non-photographic gadgets and why?

Fav photographic gadget would be my triggers, have taken so many pictures of me and my better half with them.

Non-photographic is either my ipod or amazon kindle. Both keep me going when on 12 hour nightshifts (so does epz)
