I have just created a new website for my wedding photography and i have added music to it. Do you think having music on a website is a bad thing.

If I visit any web site that starts playing music as I get there I will close that page immediately.

I hate music on websites but will usually just turn the sound off first and then discover that I may as well have closed the page anyway Smile

Thirded, but no doubt Lucian will tell us that his customer base loves it and wants more stuff, including flashing animated gifs.

Just checked out your website and I was listening to the radio on iPlayer on my PC and I could find no way at all to shut your music off, I'd never return to any website that did that.

Don't worry I didn't notice the music, I was too busy wondering why you constantly cut off people's, kilts/feet/etc leaving fresh air/ugly signage etc above their head. Are you thinking of taking this up professionally?

I also have a problem with any site that automatically plays content with any type of sound (unless I have specifically requested it to do so). In a modern browser with multiple tabs, it can be really irritating trying to find the one that is causing the noise!

LOL @ Pat!

As for the music, I'd go for bagpipes Wink

wow - I need to get me a website like that Smile

I do have "youtube" videos which have music, but they are not automatically opened when you enter the site - that does my head in, and used to be very embarrassing when I had an office job..

also - why does it open a new TAB every time you click on a menu item?
