My first sale ever!

Just wanted to share my excitement with someone who might understand what it's like to make an unexpected first sale

This evening I received and email from a friend in New York to say that she had transferred some money to my PayPal account. Previously she had asked if she could put a copy of my Flamingo image on her new 20" iMac to cheer her up after week's of grey days in New York.

Of course I said yes and she send money.

I'm so excited that I've just printed off the notification from PayPal.

Thanks everyone.

I see that my excitement to share my news meant that I'd forgotten how to use English properly and check my words in my post above. Thank goodness I have finally learned how to use my camera for at least one shot

Well done Stephen.

I had a first sale to a family member not so long ago, they bought a canvas print of a sunset for their wall. The best feeling was when I visited recently and got to see it hung on their wall :o)
