Buy or download the hard hitting documentary Armadillo about young Danish soldiers doing the national service in the front line in Afghanistan.

Some of you might think twice.

The military saved my eldest son, 25 years in the service now, and in a desk job looking forward to retiring young enough to have another career.

Bring back NS NO WAY
We cant afford it anyway.
Im ex services and the idea of persistent offenders being called up is laughable, what use would they be?
Its about time Britain realised that we are not the worlds peace force.
Thank god paliament said no to involvement in Syria.
Im sure we are all desperately sorry for those that have lost loved ones in all the recent conflicts I too lost friends in Oman and the Falklands.
But enough is enough we should no longer play puppet to Obama, there are enough problems at home to sort out before spending millions on overses aid and "policing operations"

And that is the big elephant in the room that the 'pro NS' people miss. Even in the heyday of NS when they had louts who were unamagaeable, the army found ways to kick them out - so the ones who 'needed' NS were still out on the streets.
