Some info here Sigma User Whats quite interesting is that you can get 1000mm with a 2x coverter and still get f5.6.

I have something similar on my camera. It's called a porpoise.

Rubbish for taking photos, but very good for catching fish.

Looks like just the thing for Landscape work.
It will definitely save me leaving the house to get shots out in the countryside.

And how do you zoom the thing? Is it a push-pull? Is that what the handle on the top is for??
