Some info here Sigma User Whats quite interesting is that you can get 1000mm with a 2x coverter and still get f5.6.

I have something similar on my camera. It's called a porpoise.

Rubbish for taking photos, but very good for catching fish.

Looks like just the thing for Landscape work.
It will definitely save me leaving the house to get shots out in the countryside.

Do you think it will mount OK on my table top tripod?
