    Hello friends,

this is slightly off-topic. I own a HP Deskjet 940C which has operated wonderfully for years.

Recently I became aware of colours fading while printing a colourful email. So I changed the 3 colour ink catridge and attempted to print again, but there was no change!

I've just done a clean cartridge function, followed by clicking on a Prime button, whatever that is. Did another print and I still get the same nonsense!Tongue

What I'm getting most of all is where there is supposed to be blue, prints out as pink!Sad

Can you please advise what I can do. I'm thinking of trying another new cartridge which I need to buy, but I'm afraid I'll get the same result.

    Frank.

    Hello Skewey,

I most definitely use original ink catridges. It may be possible I received a rogue cartridge, even though it was factory sealed?

Just asking as Brotherinlaw had same problem and it turned out it was a dud cartridge but it caused mayhem with printer. Even after he changed it overstill had problems.
