    Some years ago at a local keyboard and organ club a new chairman was elected and his good lady as 'Vice Chairman'

    Upon election he objected to the word 'Vice' being used in connection with his wife and called for the title to be changed.

    She became "Deputy Chairman"

    Ah! We live in enlightened times!!! Wink

    in my club we call the deputy chairman the "Chairman of Vice"

    Thank you all for your support. The biggest challenge so far is to try and organise a comittee meeting before one member goes away at the start of June for several weeks.
