New simplified menu bar?

I can't find a Taskbar on Firefox. All I've got is an orange box top left with a drop down menu but nowhere does it mention a task bar etc. When I click on the FF icon it takes me to Google. I give up.

Try going to Tools, Compatibility View Settings, remove any sites listed, and uncheck all three boxes at the bottom.

Oh right, got it. Shows 96,436 memory use. Don't know if that's good or bad.

That's fine and should be ok...unless you have a small amount of memory on your PC. Have a look after you've been running it for a few hours and see if it's risen. As I say mine shoots up to 500,000 and occasionally way beyond.
