It looks as though someone at Sony may have itchy fingers, as apparently details of their new SLR, the A700, appeared on their website earlier today.

Sony Alpha A700

Just thought those with Minolta/Sony fit lenses might be interested.

Yep, its buzzing all around the Sony forums. The press launch should be tomorrow.

On spec, it looks good, just need real reviews now.

The new LCD looks to be in a different league from all the competition - nearly 4 times the resolution. You'll actually be able to see the picture properly for te first time.
