Hello Everyone

My name is John and I'm from Newcastle upon Tyne and I am very new to this forum and indeed to ePHOTOzine. I have only uploaded three photographs and the comments have been fantastic so far.

I have been in to photography from a very early age when I was given a Kodak Instamatic as my first camera and I have never looked back since. Mind I am not a professional photographer, strictly still the hobbyist but I do like to take my time and get a good result.
My favourite types of photography are landscapes, seascapes, nature, architecture (historic) and World War 2 aircraft.

I am looking forward to uploading more shots soon so please look out for them.

Hi John, I'm new to, only been here a few weeks & I've learnt so much already! I'm just down the coast from you in Redcar! I'll be attending the Sunderland air show next sat/sun weather depending! Enjoy EPZ I am!

Welcome to you both!

Stuffy - uploading to the gallery is a great way to learn. Remember the site acts as a community so to maximise feedback - give a little. Also asking specific questions with your post can help. Remember too that there are specialised galleries for critique, and illustrating variants of an image. Time spent in the gallery will help introduce you to these.

Enjoy!

Hiya. I havent had a real good look around yet. Just visited little bits and pieces but will get around to the rest. I didnt actually realise that the air show was coming p this month. I was there last yer and took some good shots of the Vulcan.

Sherlob: Thanks for the welcome. I will get around to viewing and commenting on other's pictures. I have browsed them a little and some are simply awesome.
