just a hello and to ask a bit of initial advice
Am new to photography andam very interested into the natural world wildlife side of thing at the mo. as this is the reason for picking up the camera. (to try and get some of the great sights for keps!)

Currently most of my shot have been done using AF want to start understanding more and widen potential through manual setting but finding alot of talk goes straight over my head as a new fish!

any advice, also is there any way i can post some of my shots so far to get som advice from those in the know??

    help much appreciated

cheers for that any body advice on how to get my photos to a suitable size and dimensions for upload??

    edit: regarding manual settings -
Have a look at the techniques section (under Learn in the left side menu list).
Theres an animals/wildlife section, and you might find 'shutter speed explained' and 'depth of field' good starting points for manual control.

    Hi big P

When you image is open go to image size and put in the desired size you can go up to 500 X 500 pixels unless you are an e 2 member you can go larger.
when you image shrinks on the screen to the desired size .
i would then re sharpen it.
Go to save as Then save the smaller version under a differen name to the 1st larger version
i always save as original file name + EPZ size next to it then . That way your original is still safe.

as phil said go into you profile and click upload to the gallery, fill in the small details and your done.
    if you go into the
learn, techniques at the top of the site there is a tutorial which shows you how to do this properly but thats how i do mine . Hope this helps. Denise x
