Why the change of heart about votes under pics? Last time it was mentioned we were told their inclusion was a mistake.
I'm pleased they're coming back as it does add a bit of interest to the site when browsing.

I thought that they were useful in the main gallery.

If a pic had 3 dozen votes or so, I would pass it over and have a look at a pic with a few or none.

I know it can work the other way around, but then they would probably get the votes anyway.

We did find that had the wrong effect though and most visitors were ignoring pics with no scores so only the highly clicked gained clicks

I do so agree with Lydia on page 38 she expressed exactly how I had been feeling but thought I was the only one. Often people post similar photos over several days and it is interesting to see how they are faring against each other! Thankyou Lydia!
I agree with Pete about the main gallery though I don't think they should appear there each one should stand on merit alone!
