I've spent the last few weeks building my own personal website.

Hopefully the following link will work!

If you fancy having a quick look and letting me know what you think, I'd be very grateful.

Not sure what's going on with the image loading. Took a couple seconds for the site itself to load, but once that was up the main image starting with the flower loaded fairly quickly. But then something odd happened, the other images in the sequence were loaded and displayed in two step, the first like -4 stops underexposed, and then -3 stops underexposed, and then the next image, on the next cycle through, it was -2 and -1, and on the third cycle through, -1 and normal.

    Image loading is certainly slow....

    ... and that's when I leave. Smile

Images loaded quickly on my connection after a very short delay of the first. All looks bright and colourful and well enough laid out.

Works fine in Internet Explorer ... but... not in Firefox. Images on the slideshow look dull and greyed out in Firefox, as though they have not faded in fully. Looking again they are trying to fade in but are doing it in 1 second steps not smoothly.

Personally I would prefer a few more images on the home page sequence as well...

Thanks for the feedback. I've not had the chance to test in any browser except for IE. Looks like the javascript needs tweaking for Firefox!

Hopefully all sorted for Firefox now...typo in the settings for Mozilla when setting the opacity. Also added a few more images to the slide show.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback - it is greatly apprecaited as always.
