Hi all
Iam new to here - just joined.You may have worked out my name and location.I am 40 yrs old,married two kids and a killer yorkie dog.I have a canon 300d and like to photgraph pretty much anything !

Well you took your time getting here, but you have at last found The best photography site on the internet.
The more you put in the more you get out, so jump on in and have fun.
There's plenty here to keep you absorbed for hours.
Feel free to ask questions, but before you do try a search using the search thingy at the top left.
Some folk on here can get a bit upset when the same questions are asked again...

Lets see some pics!! If you are new to photography and trying to get better, use the critique gallery. People will look at you photo and tell you what they would change to make it better. My new favorite spot is under "Learn" Check out advice on all kind of Techniques! If you are not new to photography, maybe enter some competitions, or put your photo up against others in the Gallery of excellence. Lots to do! Hell, the forum could keep you busy for days!

Hi Tim, are you in Dorset (pronounced Gill...as in the fish) or Kent (pronounced Jill..as in female ferret)as you only said Gillingham, its just that I live near Gillingham

Love the work ive seen so far an have found it one of the friendliest sites ive been on.
Seeing as im stuck at home with lower back injury I can see me becoming very addicted if I can stay awake an of the morphine enough.
