Oh Nick, get a free dinner and he'll swap camp. I believe Pentax would like to buy you a burger Smile

I'd love the buttons on the system to be consistent, but they're not. Try the D200 and a D2X, blinking annoying.

I didn't get a free dinner just a bottle of champagne, I've cheap.

Nikon said going forward with the D3 and D300 they will be. The D80 and the D300 are very similair already.

But does this mean the D3 will be different from the D2X?

It means that, going forward the cameras will have similar controls! Compared to the D3/300, the D2x is old hat.

Get your purse out Cheryl..... Wink

I did, but now I'm waiting for the D3X with a better crop size than 5mp Smile

Hopefully not, can we ban the mention of KR please - do Canon have a similar self-styled guru of all things Canon - apart from Keithh Wink That's a joke by the way, about Keith.

But is there a Canon equivalent, or Pentax or anything. I've even thought about going to Canon just not to have KR pushed in my face everytime Nikon do or announce something.

Hey they listened to Ken, the clock in the camera is accurate to 0.0000000000000000000000000003 seconds per year.

I think Ben was our Pentax Rep Smile

But does it automatically adjust or different time zones?
FYI - ken got himself a 5D Wink

I know but he also has Nikons and I think it pains him to admit it has some advantages.

    I read once about Ken;

Newly designed cameras are sent to Ken so he can decide who gets to make them. The ones he thinks are good are given Nikon badges, the rest he labels Canon. One day a camera was sent that was not good enough for the Nikon or Canon badges, so Ken created Pentax

    I love the thought Smile

You shouldn't own upto having a mini on this site, when I owned upto having a Cooper S everyone seemed to think I was a hairdresser.

I thought Nick was a hairdresser!

If you're leaving a 500mm in that mini, could you let me know where it is parked?

Cameras maketh not the image, it's down to the photographer

I'm off to buy a zenith EM.
