I've just realised this morning that i've lost my front cap for my sigma 10-20 lens. can anyone tell me if Nikons own 77mm front cap fits on to the sigma alright?
Thanks in advance

I see no reason as to why not
It's a standard thread, so I'm pretty sure it will. Failing that, if you're using LEE filters, send me a PM, because I've got a filter ring cap going spare.
Done the same thing myself,so if anyone else has a spare cap please contact me.
Seven day shop do a range of good lens caps, very like Nikon ones, much better than the Sigma standard cap.
always had a prob with cap..slightest knock made it fall off
Ebay will no doubt find you a replacement at minimal price
Try to buy an original. I bought a no name version and it just kept on dropping off at the slightest tap and was a dog to put on too.
Just puchased a Sigma (used) 10-20, great lens, but the 'edge squeez' cap is rubish. Got a nice practical 'centre squeez' 77mm cap from fleeBay £3 inc P&P!
