Have my heart set on this camera. Anyone know if its any good? I mainly love taking wildlife shots so the 42 zoom is ideal and i don't want/ can't afford an dslr with various lenses.

No idea if you've seen it but here's an EPZ review.
The image stabilisation (optical) is very impressive, but a tripod is still recommended, especially if you shoot in wind etc, at full zoom
I've just ordered one so will soon be able to post my impressions.
I love mine but the dream is still a Dslr at some point
I'm sure the P510 doesn't match most of the DSLR's but I travel a lot and am tired of carting lenses around; particularly when in the outback., and more so when hiking.
Kathryn, what would you like a DSLR to do that your P510 doesn't?
Very good point actually, I just need to master what I have. It's not the camera that makes the shot, it's the person taking the shot
