An inch or so overnight in Aberdeen, very dry and powdery stuff. Took an hour to get to work when normally 15 minutes, took some guys 4 hours to get home last night for a few mile drive across town.

Quote: No S in Gwent / Newport yet. We usually get S here.

Good. Hope it stays that way until Monday at least. We'll be down in Newport for the weekend visiting the in-laws. God forbid we can't get home on Sunday evening ready for work on Monday.

In the studio, this coming weekend is the busiest of the year with twice as many portrait sessions as a normal week. In these hard times, snow is the last thing we need!

About 3cm of lying snow and still snowing heavily in the West Dorset hills.

I'm teaching a workshop tomorrow so should be fun. Smile

The stuff we did have the other day melted away quite quickly. We've been lucky so far - but its bitterly cold out there!

I've never actually experienced a white Christmas. I missed the 1947 winter because I hadn't been born and in 1963, it started to snow on Boxing Day.
