We've woken up to over 6" of snow this morning - we aren't going anywhere any time soon! A shame really, because we were going to middle daughter's for the day!

It's really coming down out there (Mid Devon) - I can barely see the bird feeders!

We had a heavy downfall overnight and it poured down yesterday afternoon so nothing is moving in my part of the world. (Vale of Glamorgan)

Snow in the New Forest overnight - about 2 inches or so. Very pretty but would be greatly improved if the sky wasn't the same colour!!

You should have been up earlier!! As the sun rose it reflected off the underside of the clouds, everything was a pinky orange - so beautiful!! Wink

We were supposed to do our "Grandparent Run" up to Essex this morning, delivering Birthday presents for one Grandaughter and Christmas presents for all. Up at 6, looked out - snow, checked the weatehr warning, severe weather warning all the way up our route - bugger!

Mind you - it did look pretty when the sun came out Smile

Up to our armpits here in Somerset - well no not really, but more snow than I have seen in 16 years living here (just outside Wells - where we are setting off for armed with two dogs, rucksacks and cameras).

Well it's so rubbish here where we are that even the snow doesn't come here Sad Aparently it is all around us, just not here, we just had a pathetic bit of frozen rain.

    Thank you Grin

My wife says there was 20cm of snow overnight in SW Cumbria, I had to look up what 20cm meant, about 9 inches apparently. I wish she wasn't so European all the time....

Only had about an inch today in Aberdeen, quite a day off from it all. Bloody freezing though....

The storm has passed - we now have over 12" of snow and huge flocks of desparate birds trying to find food. It's no good, guilt is getting the better of me, I must go out and feed them - brb! Smile
