We've woken up to over 6" of snow this morning - we aren't going anywhere any time soon! A shame really, because we were going to middle daughter's for the day!

It's really coming down out there (Mid Devon) - I can barely see the bird feeders!

Snow in the New Forest overnight - about 2 inches or so. Very pretty but would be greatly improved if the sky wasn't the same colour!!

We were supposed to do our "Grandparent Run" up to Essex this morning, delivering Birthday presents for one Grandaughter and Christmas presents for all. Up at 6, looked out - snow, checked the weatehr warning, severe weather warning all the way up our route - bugger!

Mind you - it did look pretty when the sun came out

Well it's so rubbish here where we are that even the snow doesn't come here Aparently it is all around us, just not here, we just had a pathetic bit of frozen rain.

The storm has passed - we now have over 12" of snow and huge flocks of desparate birds trying to find food. It's no good, guilt is getting the better of me, I must go out and feed them - brb!
