If you can carry me from my bed to your car without waking me I may be persuaded, but at the moment Robbie and I are more likely to make early morning than sunrise. Depends how persuasive Pete is tonight.

Lol Ian, I'm not making any promises mate, can barely carry myself at that time of the morning
Ok folks, the crazy woman has awoken and the first words she muttered was Dywarchen........so its looking like a sunrise there is a strong contender. It is a stunning small lake with a boathouse, erm boats and surrounded by some rather nice hills. Pete are you ok with this? if not then mymbr is our second choice. Let me know if thats ok or you want to go somewhere else. Thinking Llandwyn isle for sunset saturday night, or there is Cable bay not far. These are our suggestions, obviously they dont have to be stuck to. Anyone have any other suggestions to add? Thinking the bomb store and quarries in the day to fill in time.
I reckon if we are going to be in the mountains it will need to be Llynnau Mymbyr. You remember of course our recent visit to Dywarchen... hehe... Sun is pointing right down the valley towards Snowdon so we could also think about Llyn Lockwood, below the Pen Y Gwryd hotel.
Tides are high around Llanddwyn at sunrise, so if you fancy wet feet then don't ask Mand to carry you over the water. They are also high at Beaumaris, Penmon & Llanfairfechan.Depends on what you want to do...
More to the point what are we doing this evening? It's drying & brightening up at the moment over Anglesey, so praps that might be the place to go... Sunset position is good at Llanddwyn
Also Dinas Dinlle or Aberdesach beaches on the mainland might be OK too...
Hehe, it took me so long to write that lot I missed all the previous posts!
Yeah, bombstore etc during the day (its dark in there 24/7)
Llanddwyn and cable bay sunset is OK, but I'm not sure about Dywarchen in the morning. If it's cloudy you won't see anything over Snowdon... so Dywarchen is probably more risky than the others...
More strenuous alternatives might be walking up some hills to get views, but again if it's cloudy you're stuffed...
Yous all have a good time, I'm jealous now but at least I've got my shoulder fixed, if anyone needs to cry on it afterwards..
Cheers and enjoy
What a fantastic weekend, really enjoyed it and with great company. Very well organised by Pete (Goggz) and local tour guide Was great meeting you, Ian, Robbie, Samantha, Mark and Mandy and putting names to faces.
Looking forward to the next one already.
Agree with you Harshan, had a great day yesterday. Pete is always a good meet operator and tour guide Was really nice to meet Ian, Robbie, you and Samantha too, Cheers Pete for arranging it
P.S. Calling her Mandy will get you in all kinds of bother Harshan, just thought I'd warn you, its Amanda or Mand, but definitely not Mandy lol I still havent receovered fully from last time I felt brave and called her it...
Cheers everyone who went. Top time had.
OOoooooooeerr!! Yeah, Mand is her name!! Mand!
Well, I finally made it home and had some kip so I should be fully awake for the night and therefore dog tired for work in the morning...
THanks everyone for a really nice weekend. My only downer was not being able to say "tata" to Chris (Pretorian) who sailed past the car as I was flashing the lights and waving at him... in fairness you were concentrating on driving so I can't criticise, not like those tour de france media drivers of late! BYE Chris! CYA soon bud!
Right, now to do some processing...

Haha Paul, I only need the one anyway lol
Thanks for an excellent weekend Pete and really good to meet everybody. We made it home late afternoon after a tour of the Lleyn Peninsula and scone & coffee in Criccieth.
Maybe we should focus on the Lleyn on the next one Pete?
Was really good to meet you Ian, Robbie and everyone else. Had a top day There only seems to be us that are down as attending the meet, so there wont be any linked images from anyone else.
If anyone who attended wants to put themselves down as attending they can then link their uploads to the meet page which can be found at: Norf Whales Meat
Hope this helps
Thanks Mark, you've managed to cut through the confusion with these groups and events thing - it's really confusing and a silly change if you ask me
Yup folks follow the link to get your pictures associated with the meet, then we can all have a butchers...
Yeah, Ian, I thought you'd programmed your satnav all wrong
Lleyn would be a good one next time
