Hi guys and girls,
I'm going to see the ATP tennis next Sunday at the O2.
I'm aware that some venues for some events will not "allow cameras with interchangeable lenses", (the arguements I had at Wembley for a Take That concert! (kept wife company, not my idea, but it was better than I thought it would be))![]()
I cannot find any info online and nothing is mentioned on the back of the tickets.
Anyone think I may have an issue or experienced any issues at this venue.
I'm planning on taking a Canon DSLR with a 70-300mm lens.
Cheers Darren
My advice leave the SLR at home.
A couple of years back I had the displeasure of being seated next to an idiot in the stands with zoom lens and SLR all you hear is the clatter of the shutter and of course he was bobbing around, then hit an old bloke on the head with the lens. A rather polite elderly lady tore him off a strip and peace was restored. In short why bother taking the camera. Go enjoy the event and if you must take a camera take a little one.
The terms and conditions include the following clause:
13. The use of cameras, video and/or sound recording equipment by you is prohibited and such items may not be permitted into the Venue except with our express written consent.
Looks like strawman has the right idea. ![]()
I've been a few times but never with a camera.
I'm hoping to catch a few players on the warm up courts and during the warm up before the match starts.
I wouldn't take pictures during the game, so hopefully anyone in block 110 on Sunday can breathe a sigh of relief![]()
