We were there yesterday for the morning session. Such a brilliant atmosphere the organisation was just outstanding, no queues at all even on the underground. Took just 7 mins from the stadium to Kings Cross. To finish it off we got home in time to see the 3 golds

Gary Linnekar on BBC TV yesterday evening posed a thought that it was going to be difficult to choose the BBC Personality Of The Year.

In normal circumstances I would have given Bradley Wiggins for winning the Tour De France a good chance but I guess that as Jessica Ennis appears to be more of a "personality" she must now be the firm favourite.

Unless of course they have 2 awards, one for the Olympics and one for Non-Olympics.

And it's a far better pic than the current default - three naff haircuts, for those old enough to make the connection Wink

What a way to win. It was like Federer wasn't there. I never expected that.

Me neither - I did wonder if Andy might manage the win but never did I even consider that he'd do it in straight sets.

Fab - but why didn't play like this at Wimbledon? Wink

Never mind, it all adds to the gold medal tally - 16 at the moment and still a week to go. Smile

The best thing is, that he won it for the UK, not for individual glory
We need to hang on to that third spot

A country of only 63 million being third behind a combined total of 1.6 billion ain't badWink

I didnt think i would watch much of the games, but after being totally blown away by the opening ceremony, i have been glued to the tv almost constantly since wednesday, was on a mini break in norfolk so i didnt really see anything over last weekend up to wednesday, but i was kept up to date by twitter.

Seeing Pendleton win her Keirin was electrifying, and i didnt think anything could really top that, but last night with Ennis, Rutherford and Farah was just stupendous! And todays tennis with Murray and Federer was just astonishingly brilliant, it was edge of the seat stuff, and Murray looked the best he ever did on any court before, R-Fed didnt stand a chance!

If your on twitter, you cant miss the buzz the 'limpix has created, its been quite unifying and wonderful to see the entire nation of GB getting behind the olympians who are taking part. I get automatic twitter feeds on the home screen of my mobile and it has never been so busy, im sure my data usage has tripled over the last few days, its staggering really.

Cant wait to see Pendleton race tomorrow, it would be so great if she got another gold in london before she retires, she really deserves it Smile
