Which DB? Danny Boyle or David Beckham. Wink Either way I bet a couple of knighthoods are winging their way to them pretty soon.

Pam & I were hoping that too.

I reckon that's not the Queen on the stage but her double and Queenie is going to drop down on a zip-wire to light the cauldron at the climax of the show Wink

Plot twist; The queen announces after the torch is lit that actually the Olypmics is infact, the Hunger Games. And every one must fight for their lives.

Mike Oldfield & Tubular Bells

Well that brought back some memories as did " My Boy Lollipop "

I have only got a normal type television, none of this HD, plasma screen etc. but I was impressed by the picture quality.

Not bothering with the rest of it, no doubt there will be some replays on the News tomorrow morning.

JB and The Q were the highlight for me so far. I didn't really believe it, and then it happened. Brilliant! What a sport. Smile

Yes the Queen's parachute jump and the lighting of the cauldron were good. The rest was either utterly tedious or utterly cringeworthy.
