Roger, the spider was with the 45mm lens. I often use just close-up filters on it for macro, but I seem to have misplaced all 3 of them......
Oh, and I'm not opting out of VS - I'm finding it amusing that images that are over 4 years old are emerging. I'm also finding it amusing to see some of mine lose to nudes - lol.
They'll have some work tweaking it to get people to use it - it got boring real quick. Maybe something to do when one is sick in bed with the flu?

My photos seem to be immune to VS. I've looked at the most recent half-dozen and none of them have either won or lost yet. Or maybe they've come up but been skipped.

I think it's safe to say that up against a nude, most pics will have no chance!

How are you seeing what your images lose to Anne, I haven't spotted that yet?

Brian1208, what IS setting do you use for you BIF are you panning to get the shot?
), I was pleased with the DoF even the 14-42mm lens gave me here - a pic taken at Mallaig in Scotland.
Okay...I'm going to admit to being a complete numpty. I don't care any more.
Depth-of-field: on M43 for a given focal length, is DoF greater, shallower, or about the same compared with 35mm/FF, and compared with APS-C? See, I admit to being clueless about this aspect of photography.
There. I feel better now that I've confessed my ignorance!
Incidentally, the HLD-6 grip has arrived, along with the GS-4 grip strap. More excuses to get out and play with the E-M5.
Dof is greater on full frame, comparing like to like ie a 50mm lens.
