Brian, there is an Olympus open day at SRS on the 27/10/2012 so if I manage to get there I will ask the question. I will post my findings with the panning and IS setting when I have had a chance to try out.

I could have a happy day tomorrow as well as my Pana 100-300 could arrive

Brian, do you have a delivery date on the 60mm macro - it's not available here in the US yet - am thinking of pre-ordering, but might wait, hoping for a rebate offer.

That lens will be the crowning glory....until someone produces a top notch telephoto for action. Kudos to Olympus for their more than reasonable pricing of the macro.

I don't know Anne, but I agree with you. I'll ask one of the caretakers next time. I spent a couple hours in the rainforest room, right accross the lobby from the butterfly room, this morning. Hey, I have a free pass for you if you'd like to join me there for a day.
