Speaking of rattlesnakes Anne; this fellows hand has numerous scars from Western Rattlesnake bites. He used to collect venom for a company that made an antidote for the bites. Nice job.
here's a heavily worked Avocet, using sideways flicks of its beak to stir up the silt and locate food
Some people are either extremely brave or foolhardy Denny, what an incredible sight!

We had some sun this morning so had a play with the 12-35mm lens.

Have you seen what the venom does to the flesh, even if quickly treated.
