Quote: Is it also rotated on your monitor at home or just after the upload?
Kev, all the shots from that first session are rotated 90 deg to the left on the monitor in LR4 and in windows viewer. I must have set the camera up differently somehow? (I've just run another set off using the monopod and they are the correct orientation. The images are even sharper as its a very clear evening, this lens maks a super little telescope )

sorry, that should have been rotated 90 degrees to the right (I had to apply 90 deg left to bring it back into correct position)
Just updated the firmware to v1.6 (see here). Camera still works.................. success! Lol!
Thank you for that - since I am soon to send mine in for repairs - they will do it for me
Also on the ePz page announcing the firmware update, a list of serial numbers of E-M5's affected by the screen bezel cracking problem, and I'm delighted to see mine has a much later serial number than the affected group of cameras.
It's no big deal even if the bezel is cracked. I got mine back within a few days with a new LCD screen.
Surely it was a bit more than a few days CB, they send them off to Portugal
It was less than a fortnight.
And the build up to Christmas, so still pretty good
I was actually quite surprised - having been warned it could be 'up to 6 weeks'.
mdpontin, my serial number is also quite a bit later than the list but I have the cracked bezel even so.
I have emailed Olympus and am awaiting a reply.
Hm...okay, thanks Kev. There no substitute for keeping an eye on things.
On the subject of that Micro 4/3 to Minolta A (Sony Alpha) adapter from Fotodiox - I'm happy to confirm that it fits perfectly on the OM-D. I've no idea why the Amazon reviewer had a problem with it as there's not the slightest problem with it. It also arrived from the States in very quick time - Amazon had quoted 22 March for a likely delivery date, but it arrived today.
So...now I can try using my Minolta AF 500 reflex lens on the little Olympus!
Best to take some of those reviews with a pinch of salt, often its down to some mistake made by the buyer.
One claimed they had ordered a sigma lens for M4/3 claiming the had received it in a Sony mount, strange the complaint showed on the Sony mount page
On the other I mentioned earlier about the fotodiox adapter that caused them to loose auto focus
Been offered a GF2 with 14mm for 200 quid, boxed and mint, very tempting
All true, Paul. Sometimes people don't read the product description before buying, or have...shall we say, unrealistic expectations.
I have to use two adapters with each lens, first legacy to 4/3, then 4/3 to M4/3, I could`nt be bothered to buy a load of new adapters
