CB, so far the 17mm is probably the easiest lens I've ever used, and the instantaneous focus is no exaggeration. That little snapshot feature where you slide the focus ring back for manual is fantastic, and if the lens ever has a problem auto-focusing, I'll get to use it.Wink Of course, I'll have to try zone shooting as well.Smile I bought mine used for $412.00 Canadian, in Canada, with free shipping.

Glad to see you're happy with the 14-45mm.

I was at a festival yesterday and really missed my OMD, they stated professional looking camera`s including all camera`s with interchangeable lenses were strictly prohibited, so I risked my GF2 instead.

Gets in there and finds many people walking around with DSLR`s Smile

This was about the best light I got and right at the beginning, it was all down hill from here.

Just ordered the Olympus 14-150, I was really tempted by the Panasonic 14-140 but figured I was only really paying the extra for the OS, which is turned off on my other Panasonic lenses.

I figured it will make an awesome walk about lens, great for a bit of street photography and if the quality is there maybe very useful in the studio when I have fast moving kids / toddlers in, I spend most of my day kneeling down / sat down to be at their eye level so having a lens with a good range is always useful (I use the Nikon 24-120 f/4 on my FX body as I found the 24-70 f/2.8 didn't offer enough range).

And in the studio environment you don`t always need the fastest of lenses Smile

How are you getting on with that grip Paul and have you sussed out the test picture setting I told you about.

There is also a way of setting up a kind of focus peaking, that works well.

Thanks for the link Paul.

Yeah, I also figured I didn't really need a f/2.8 lens in the studio.

The grip is awesome, really makes a difference without adding much more weight. Had a quick look at the test picture setting, will play more though. I think I will just keep finding more useful features as I use it more. It's a great camera and with the right lenses the results are superb.

one thing to watch for with the grip (at least with mine) is that the knurled wheels can loosen over time. I find I need to tighten them every couple of weeks or so (with more or less daily use)

I find I never take it off the camera now, just keeping the battery in the grip rather than the body, it improves the handling that much

Can`t say I`ve noticed any loosening, the wheels have some nice spring to them though Smile

The two part grip is one of the nicest parts to the OMD.
