Indeed, I don't think anyone's seen an (up to date) photo of you, Denny............ does such a thing even exist? Grin

Quote: What other high spec primes would you all like to see.

A decent 17mm... f2 or wider. 200mm - not too fussed about aperture. That's about it for primes.

(The 45mm Oly is good enough for pro use... may get one eventually. The 20mm Panny is perfect for about 70%+ of my photography.)

But the one I really want is not a prime but the Tamron 18-270mm zoom. I'm trying to find out if it will become available with an M4/3 mount; it already available with Sony NEX mount. It would be the perfect walkaround lens for me.

This would cover both your kit lenses.

Something like that could be a long time coming if at all.

Would you call the EM5 a body with soul, I`ve never warmed to the G2.

It wouldn't cover the 150-270mm range! Wink

    I'm in no hurry. Smile

I'm trying to think of which interchangeable-lens cameras I have felt I wasn't 100% comfortable with. Quite shockingly (to some), I would say............. every DSLR I have ever owned! shocked-dark.jpg

My first film SLR was a Canon A-1, and I was completely happy with that. The Pen was very nice, but that too just missed the mark. The EM-5 is probably the first ILC I've owned since the Canon A-1 with which I am completely at ease. Smile

I'm happy with the E-M5, for certain. However, my first SLR of any kind was the Nikon D70, the camera I started learning on, and I was very comfortable with it after 4 years of use. In fact, I never found anything that came close to replacing how I felt about it till the E-M5. I don't want to sound like a dork, but I think certain cameras have character, and I know the E-M5 does.Grin

It's quite common for people feel that way about cars, of course. It is probably less usual to feel that way about a camera. Wink

The x10 comes close for me, first modern compact that has done that.

DSLRs are bricks with buttons Smile
