I've just ordered a used sigma 180 f5.6 AP macro to use with the EM5 via the Kiron adapter.

Its either going to be a complete dud or just maybe, a really useful 360mm equivalent 1:0.5 macro tool.

I'll let you know what happens (even if it is a bummer! Smile )

[with a 7 day return policy and only £99.00 its no real risk Grin )

So long as you have a returns period, sounds like it's worth a try out. Smile

Indeed we are, Jeff............ and that's one of the things the camera does: put the fun back into photography while keeping quality up. Smile

Question for you EM-5ers: have most of you moved over to shooting JPEG now? I must admit I haven't properly tried it. I've had so many problems with JPEG in the past, especially correcting WB, that I feel a bit of reluctance.

But I keep reading that it's quite hard to get a RAW processed in (e.g.) Lightroom to look as good as an out-of-camera JPEG that I just wondered.

I started with RAW, switched to jpeg, went back and tried RAW again, and I can't get anywhere near the IQ using RAW in LR or the Olympus program. Then again, I have little experience processing RAW images. I use auto WB CB, and it gives a warm image; if I want it a little more realistic, or cooler, I use remove colour cast, and using the eye-dropper tool I can tailor the image colour whatever way I want. Adjusting jpegs takes a matter of a few seconds.

It's indoor photos by artificial light - which is a goodly proportion of my stuff - where I find JPEGs just don't deliver (on other cameras anyway).

Not when attached to that Kiron adapter and OM-D.

Its been nothing like this, this menu system seems just crazy.

On pro grade camera`s its a lot simpler CB.

For Denny section "G" change warm colour to off.

    .
Push the OK button to bring up the settings menu on the rear screen..tap on IS and push OK button again...select which IS mode you want to use using control wheel or rear pad arrows, then push OK again to set that mode. When looking through viewfinder, pushing INFO button will cycle through various display settings.
