Simon D has left oodles of helpful critique on the Derek Pye website. We could do with more people like that here.

Interesting first picture posting by Derek Pye: a self-portrait taken with a Fuji 2.4-megapixel pocket cam!

High-end stuff indeed! Grin

It has been said here many times before, CB.

It's not down to the equipment, it's all about the skill of the photographer.

One look at Mr Pye's site endorses this.

Adrian.

Yes that 'Mystike' effect is certainly unique. Derek describes it as follows:

"It combines all the best elements of my other styles with state of the art digital affects never before seen in wedding photography"

Can't argue with that!!! Grin

Indeed, we can learn a lot from Derek.
I certainly feel my photography is a lot better after seeing his.

The sign of a good teacher is the ability to install confidence in the student.

I think all will agree that Derek does, by example, install confidence in our own ability by the shovel full.

I have never laughed so much in all my life.
I'm amazed He finds the time to run a joke wedding site. Thanks for a Little light relief some people take it all to seriously. Denise x
