    If you haven't seen this film, stay in and watch it.
    Funny, sad, makes you laugh, makes you cry, great acting, not to mention when Jack Nicholson takes all the inmates fishing.

    Absolute Classic, a must see. Jack Nicholson is outstanding in it.

    Read the book ariund 25 years ago. One of the few films that lives up to the the original novel.

    Yep Nicholson is a star .... recently remember my step-father saying he had never seen another of his classics, 'The Shining' ... its one of those bucket list things .....
