Well there is always the inspired by nature category, that could be taken as an excuse to doctor a less than perfect otter shot Wink

Well Cheryl have followed your lead and will be getting my daughter to do the same like you say you have to be in it to win it but there are some stunning shots on there, I think that some of the Juniors here would stand a great chance of winning having seen some of there shots.

Just to save people having to find the first post:

Thought a few people may be interested in this online wildlife and nature competition.

There are two categories for both 17 and unders and over 18s. One category being wildlife itself and not allowing digital manipulation and the second being a more open category.

The rest of the site is worth checking out as well.

Think this should be of particular interest to some of the junior members who could do well in the 17's and under category.

just to add that although it is open to anyone the photos have to be taken in UK/Europe.

Well the whole site is dedicated to promoting European wildlife so that's understandable. It's trying to promote the fact that Europe has enough of it's own specialist species, etc., that travelling for exotic species on safaris and the like is less necessary.

perfectly understandable - just pointing out an important rule to anyone who is interested

Images are now up for April voting and competition is open for April entries at Wild Wonders

Please if you do vote, vote because you like the image and not because you know the photographer! I'm sure others will get friends to vote, but that's not really the point is it?

Not had time to look through the under 18's but hope some of the members on here did have a go.

I really wish looking at how many images there are in the u17s that some of the juniors on here would get involved - the ultimate prize is quite impressive, and no dodgy rights grabs going on.
