Farewell to the star of Dirty Dancing and Ghost - aged just 57. Sad

So sad, my wife's upset about his death even though in many ways it's been expected.

An up and down career, but a fighter, as he was against the cancer that killed him. I liked his work, good family man.

What!! Oh dear... One of my favourite cooking 'characters'. He's shunned TV appearances in recent times unfortunately.

Many people have been moved to tears by the film Ghost...... I guess it will be even more poignant seeing it knowing that Patrick Swayze has actually passed on!

Really sad Sad Loved Ghost, Dirty Dancing too but Point Break with the classic line "I caught my first tube today Sir" was better I think. Cant help thinking how frail Keith Floyd looked last night, ever the character to the the end though.

I saw this at a friend's house when I was twelve. I thought my mum was going to kill my friend's parents!
He was good in Donnie Darko too, that role was a total paradigm shift.

Watched it a couple of weeks ago for the 3rd time - great stuff. SmileSmileSmile

After the latest image of Patrick released recently i thought he was well on the road to recovery, he looked ten times fitter than in the gaunt image that announced his battle. Very sad news.

Watched Ghost for the first time recently, had me in tears predictably, a great performance, very moving.
