you can have funds paid into any account with paypal, as long as you can varify the account. they pay a very small amount into the account, you get a number beside the payment on your statement. then you quote that. I use paypal for ebay payments both taking and paying, also through my photium website.
It seems to run very well and makes life easier tkaing payments from abroad and by card
PayPal appears to be the more widely accepted 'brand'. I use it too and in a similar way to Paul. I believe you also have more legal protection with PayPal too... Don't quote me on this though
