    Hi all,

After being too busy to do a lot with my camera over the past year, I have decided to finally get active again and concentrate on one of my 2 favourites: people/model/glamour photography.

I know the basics about what to do and what to avoid, and now I am keen to move a step up from decent amateur to semi pro.
Good camera equipment is sorted, as are a couple of models.
What I need now are specialist blogs and forums on portrait and model photography.

    Any tips?

A couple of model/photographer websites to try:

    Purestorm (UK based)
    Model-Mayhem (US based)

I look forward to seeing your results.

Ben, the guides on ephotzine are very good. you can also subscribe to the lighting manufacturer emails as they also show you great ways to use their kit. Then there are the many training session you can sign up to PhotoTraining4U advertises here and a guy called Mark Cleghorn works for them, he is very good. Do let me know what you find useful as well.
