Thanks for all the kind comments.

Hoovering a pond should be a stress free relaxed job...unlike trying to work out what I need to do the job!
I have an appointment with stent specialist next week to determine how I am "fixed".

Well if Pete finds a 1933 penny as a result of his hoovering it will be worth the effort! Wink

I don't think they had 1p coins in 1933, Jas but I can't say for sure as I wasn't around then and neither, I think, were you! Wink

    They didn't, CB.

And if they had it would be 2.4d (1p = 2.4d)

No, I wasn't around then, not for another 2 years!

    Not even a twinkle! Smile

There is still one 1933 penny unaccounted for, I believe, and apparently it maybe worth upwards of £50,000 if ever found.

    That's inflation for you! Wink

I have a box of old pennies and twopennies (twice as thick) up in the loft, CB.

Perhaps I should toddle up and have a look?

Perhaps a 5D could be on the cards! Smile

    Probably not Sad

I won't go into it, CB, as it's somewhat rude! Wink
