Anyone who has thought about taking a vehicle over to Norway recently will know what a pain in the neck it is since the Newcastle-Bergen ferry ceased to operate. Now there's a move to allow Northlink to run a ferry between Shetland and Norway in the summer (you may remember that Northlink were in the news when they sailed to Norway to rescue passengers stranded during the volcanic ash shut-down).
