Hello - in a few weeks Im heading to Suffolk for a week and wanted to ask if anyone knew of good photo locations, or small traditional villages etc. Im planing on going to Southwold and Aldeburgh as Im staying at Halesworth. Have been to Long Melford and that area before, so looking for suggestions maybe along the coast? Nice walks, villages, towns, pubs, areas of natural beauty, that kind of thing!! Many thanks in advance!

Have friends who live near there, and to be honest if you get out and about anywhere round there you'll find something pretty stunning. Had chat with said friends and they reckon, try Harleston, Bungay, Fressingfield, if you want a decent pint, have spent may a good night in the Buck at Rumburgh(nice village too), and for a woodland area try Dunwich Forest. But also like i said you'll find something worthwhile anywhere you go.
Hope this has helped

You've also got the castle up at Framlingham and the tower (castle) at Orford to consider. If you head to Beccles you can also rent a small boat and go down the water some way in either direction (one rout can take you down the water to the Locks Inn so you can pull up and have a meal/drink).
There's now an even better (and much cheaper) way of visiting the picturesque Geldeston Locks Inn from Beccles, with someone else doing the steering so you can stick to taking photos - just use the Big Dog Ferry!
