Quote: Well, i never did recieve my POTW canvas (from April) after loads of e-mailing & promises it was on the way....
maybe this goes some way to explain that!
ah well....
It took me six months to get my picture from anneherbert from januarys competition which also took loads of e-mails.
They also promised me another print as compensation for the wait which was never recieved and I can't be bothered to chase them up this time.
I don't rate there service much.
Anyway sorry my rant is over.
I would support that 100%.
I am somewhat surprised to read a couple of unfortunate stories here about individuals having issues with the delivery of their POTW prize.
I would council anyone having issues to make The Team aware (use the 'Create a Report' link at the foot of every page of this site if necessary) - they will invariably support and assist as they always do in these cases. Use the 'Editorial' selection from the 'Category' drop-down menu.

Sorry I should have added that tricia was very helpful and understanding ![]()
Tricia contacted them for me, which is when they rung me to apologise but still took ages after that to send the picture.
Even though the service I recieved from anneherbert was pants the picture was of excellent quality, but not sure if it was there printing or my wonderful picture that enhanced the quality
lol
At the end of the day I did get the picture I won eventually (thanks Ephotozine and Tricia) but I have stopped holding my breath for the compensation pic as I went blue ![]()
Good to have that update Simon...
As our Lady says, sometimes things don't always go to plan but (knowing Anne) the quality of the finished print was always worth the wait I know. (
)
I also won POTW twice and after ordering both times i never did recieve mine, i was told to replace my order after getting intouch with them but still didnt recieve anything, so gave up ![]()
I have won a folio pic pro web site from the Christmas competition but as of yet not been notified by epz team, how long does it take to be emailed?
do they just send u a code or will the code arrive through the post??
I won my foliopic pro website for winning Photo Of The Week. I won it in early December and it was a month later when I was contacted about it ( of course in between winning and being contacted we had the Xmas and new year holidays). Great prize - very easy to get started , all details are in the email and terrific customer support!

Quote: Hello, if any one is still waiting for prizes please bear with us, we're working hard on the Christmas newsletter this week and then we'll get everyone sorted. I promise ![]()
Promises, Promises ![]()
I'm still waiting for my 'prize' canvas 5 months after winning POTW, really, how difficult can it be to find an alternative supplier, there's dozens of them out there! Sadly, another reason not to renew my EPZ membership any time soon.
...and mine is due in just a few days.
And I find myself questioning as to whether or not I should renew...
Pete?...
I'd get in touch with Tricia at EPZ towers, as well as being incredibly helpful, I'm sure she would chase it up for you, or at the very least give you some explanation as to why there is a delay......Remember sometimes it may not be the the fault of EPZ, but the actual sponsor.

The response from 'EPZ Towers' has been disappointing, they can't find a suitable supplier is the explanation I was given, hence my comment on this forum.

Not sure I agree with that Ade, EPZ awarded the prize and the responsibility for delivering it is theirs, I think 5 months (and longer in other cases apparently) is enough time to have made alternative arrangements. You'd think in these difficult times there would be a queue of suppliers willing to take this on.......you have to wonder what EPZ are offering that they can't find anyone!
why should potw (or non-delivery of the prize) affect your E2 membership? Surely you didn't sign up just in case you won a prize? ![]()
Never having won anything....I know it sounds irritating and agree that EPZ have the responsibility to pay for another supplier (even if they make a loss)
