    Beautiful pictures. But how many empty areas there are on Earth. And our little UK is almost totally covered with lights. Makes you think.

    Yeah, while europe looks like a sparkling shiny thing, poor africa is plunged into almost complete darkness.

    Amazing images, always awe inspiring i feel, very moving to see our home planet looking so serene with so much going on its surface, it is no wonder UFO's come to visit us, mama earth stands out like a sore thumb Wink

    Who wouldnt want to see our planet from this angle? Good on Richard Branson for reaching for the stars, if anyone can do it he can, the bloke is a legend, im pretty sure he could swap the sun with the moon if he wanted to! Book me a window seat Smile

    Superb photos.
    If anyone has seen Andy Lounds illustrated lecture "A Pale Blue Dot", he uses some of these images as well.
    Well worth going to see if you get the chance.
