    Hello friends,

I hope you can help me out.

For some time now, when I use Photoshop CS, then click on the Filter menu, the only options available to me are :-

Blur, Noise, Sharpen, Stylise and Other. All the others are greyed out and I can't work out why. I can't remember if I accidentally hit a wrong button on my keyboard for example.

Is there some way I can get the full set available as before?

    Cheers,

    Frank.

    agree with Newmanp
Try clicking top tabs- Image, then mode, then tick 8 bit. See if that resolves the problem.
