    Hi,
just started to work in RAW with my NIKON D50. I know that you can open the files in Photoshop CS2 starting in Adobe Bridge. But... i cant get it to work, ive had a look on the internet and i thought i needed Camera RAW 3.1 (a plugin from Adobe website) but that hasnt worked.
does anyone know anything about this or how to get RAW Nikon D50 files open using Photoshop and Camera RAW?

    Dan

Check the Adobe web site for the exact version of RAW filter you need for the D50. As the Adobe RAW interface is fairly poor it could be a good time to look at a better RAW converter, like Capture 1 or rawshooter.

Try version 3.2 of ACR - according to the Adobe site it supports the D50.

Another thing to consider is if you have installed the Nikon capture software ( you may have a trial version with the camera ) it can stop full fuctionality of Adobe Camera Raw due to a little file it leaves in the file formats folder.

Agree about Capture One - much better , nice interface and top notch results.
