Hi All, I'm considering upgrading from CS to CS4, so that I can open RAW images from the Alpha 100 directly without going through Capture one first . . . . My other half can't grasp the concept of work flow . . . . And I'm getting fed up with the nagging Smile

I'm also gradually buying the bits to upgrade the PC and while the motherboard I want can go to 64GB (Not that I would!) there is no point in going for more than 4GB if the OS can't take it so I'm also thinking of going for a 64bit OS . . . . and hence is CS4 64 bit native . . . or still only 32bit?

Whew long winded or what? Smile

CS4 supports 64-bit, but if using it to process RAW images you will likely notice a drop in quality because Adobe's Camera Raw is generally considered to produce less good results than C1. I don't bother with ACR even though I have CS4.

But it's up to you whether you consider the convenience more important than the quality, of course. Smile
