    Hey hello

    i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of what RAW plug in for Adobe Cs3 i should be using with a Nikon D3100
    Iv updated to the latest version , but it just dont work with the NEF files

    Hope you can help , Many thanks

    You won't be able to update CS3 to read the raw files from such a recent camera.

    You can either use Adobe's free DNG convertor to make compatible files, or use the software that came with your camera to process the files into TIFFs.

    Agreed.

    If you wish to continue using CS3 then 'DNG' is the only way to go.

    BTW - you will not lose anything at all in terms of the RAW data captured. Smile

    oh fantastic that really had me stumped . As it seems to open the Nikon d300 raw files ok But not the Nikon d3100

    Thanks guys ll look into this DNG converter , Just one thing does the newer versions of photoshop work with the new range of nikon cameras ?

    Yes.

    Checkout Adobe's site for PS version body 'compatibility'.
